Feast of Tabernacles 2015
Gerald Flurry attended this year’s Feast of Tabernacles at sites in Oklahoma, Ohio and Georgia. Members of the Philadelphia Church of God who attended these sites were able to hear him speak live on several occasions. Some of the messages he gave were recorded and sent around the world to the PCG’s Feast sites, stretching from North America to Australia.
The Feast of Tabernacles is simply patterned after God’s instruction found in the Bible (Leviticus 23). It is a time of top-quality sumptuous feasting. With all the incredible travel and vista that come at this time of the year, it is the inspiring messages that PCG members look forward to the most. It is a time to feed on spiritual messages from God’s ministry.
The Feast of Tabernacles is a time of great rejoicing. It has a greater significance for today than in the days of ancient Israel. It is instructed that God’s people rejoice during this seven day period, especially because of the incredible event that it pictures in God’s master plan.
This sixth feast of God pictures the millennial rule of Jesus Christ and His Bride—the saints (Daniel 7:13-14, 18; Revelation 20:4-6). During this 1,000-year period, Christ and His saints will rule the Earth, and the Earth will be rejuvenated. It will achieve never-before-seen levels of productivity, and every human will live a happy, peaceful and successful life.
The Feast of Tabernacles is truly one of the happiest times of the entire year. It is both physically and spiritually rejuvenating. It is a wonderful cessation from this chaotic world, and it contains a vision for every human being that has ever lived.
Mr. Gerald Flurry and the Philadelphia Church of God keep the Feast of Tabernacles just as the Worldwide Church of God did under the leadership of Herbert W. Armstrong.
